The Thrift Shop of Aspen

The all volunteer Thrift Shop of Aspen is Aspen’s original recycling center.  Since 1949, the ladies of The Thrift Shop have been supporting non-profit organizations throughout the Roaring Fork valley by selling goods generously donated by this community.  In addition, the Thrift Shop has given 5 two year college scholarships to Roaring Fork high school area graduates who represent the Thrift Shop spirit of participation, community service and volunteerism.

The mission of the Thrift Shop of Aspen is to sell donated goods at affordable prices, to engage in community building activities, to make grants to other non-profit organizations in the Roaring Fork Valley and to provide scholarships to Roaring Fork Valley area High School graduates.

Your donations have have allowed us to donate over two million dollars since 2000 to non-profits in our community.  Clearly, your recycled goods make an incredible impact!  Keep them coming and continue making a difference.
