Mark Shaw is a former criminal defense lawyer and network television personality turned author of 24 books. Besides Road to a Miracle, he will have No Peace for the Wicked, his first novel, published this fall.

Shaw’s books include biographies of Thomas Merton, Jonathan Pollard, Larry Bird, Mike Tyson, and Holocaust survivor Cecelia Rexin. His career includes co-founding the Aspen Daily News, appearances as a correspondent and legal analysis for ABC’s Good Morning America and ESPN, co-host of CBS’s People, and a columnist for USA Today. Dorfman: Mark Shaw is making the most of a ‘miracle’


The turning point in Mark Shaw’s turbulent life arrived in 2000, when he got the legendary basketball coach Bobby Knight fired from Indiana University.
It was an event that shook the very foundation of college basketball as well as Mark Shaw’s own life. Among other things, it cost him his marriage.
If you haven’t heard of Mark Shaw, he is a man who has done well in multiple careers.
As a defense lawyer, he worked for attorney F. Lee Bailey. He was a legal analyst for the Mike Tyson, O.J. Simpson and Kobe Bryant trials, as well as a newspaper co-publisher, TV personality, radio talk-show host, film producer and author of 24 books.
