David Wood

David Wood lives in Iowa with his cat and an understanding wife.  Since 2001 he and his wife have also owned a home in the Aspen/Snowmass area, where they love to spend as much time as possible.  They have three adult children (two avid skiers and one avid snowboarder).  Wood has written for the Sierra Golfer and Colorado AvidGolfer magazines.  He holds history (AB) and law (JD) degrees from the University of Missouri at Columbia.  When he is not skiing, he can be found at the nearest golf course.  He donates all of his profits from sales of his book to charity, the Roaring Fork Valley Scholarship Fund.  He may be reached at AspenShrines@aol.com.
