Amiee White Beazley

Amiee White Beazley is the author of Snowmastodon! Snow Day Adventure released in June 2011.

Hailing proudly from Rhode Island, Amiee is a graduate of Syracuse University with degrees in English Textual Studies and Women’s Studies. After graduating from college, Amiee lived in both London and San Francisco where she worked in public relations for CNN International and Neihaus Ryan Group.

In Fall 1997 Amiee moved to Aspen, where she worked in the marketing department at The North Face headquarters. After the company’s relocation to California, Amiee pursued a freelance writing career getting her start at The Aspen Times. Her work has appeared in 5280, Coastal Living, Yankee, and Aspen Peak magazine among many other publications. Today Amiee is the editor of edibleASPEN magazine. Snowmastodon! is her first children’s book.

Most importantly, Amiee is the mother of two beautiful sons, Tanner and Brady, and wife of Brian, an architect in Aspen. Together with her family, Amiee enjoys winter days skiing and hiking with the boys, and in summer, camping and listening to music in the Rocky Mountains.
